Top 10 Values Paper

Honesty- I chose this value because it comes with everything in life. If you are honest you are also trustworthy.
Self Accountability- To be able to take one’s personal inventory and better their weaknesses is a process not easily implemented. However, by doing this we become stronger and more confident in our abilities.
Discipline- This value is sought out by any employer and most recognizable.
Self Motivation- This value allows one to be trusted to work on their own, and so in choosing a career I could move right into a field where I would be on my own or in a team leader position.
Leadership- This is a strength needed in any managerial position or in the position of owning your own business.
Efficiency-Without efficiency businesses fail. This is a value I have learned first-hand in my previous business adventures.
Teamwork- Shows the ability to work with others and be able to work in a group environment.
Communication- Good communication is important not only in relaying information to co-workers, but also relaying information to employers and customers.
Safety- This value is hard to place on a list of most important because it is important at all levels. It can cost people’s lives and cause financial distress on a company if they don’t have good safely practices.
Flexibility- Being able to work with less restrictions and able to adapt to different situations makes me a more desirable employee.

I already implement these values not only in my own company, but also the companies I work for. I have found these values to be the most prosperous and I don’t believe they will change in the future as I believe they are the key foundation to a successful employee and employer.
